You are on the Fastest Route is my graduate thesis from the SVA Products of Design program. It explores the potential impact of autonomous cars on society via essays, prototypes, design interventions, and interviews with subject matter experts. My designs featured experiences, UI/UX explorations, industrial design, and more. The book includes my original analysis, supplemented by research, project work, and interviews I conducted. I gave the thesis as a keynote presentation at the SVA Theater in 2018.

AVA (Autonomous Voice Assistant) is a voice user interface I designed to explore the future of transportation. She’s a quirky ten-year-old AI persona who inhabits a car but, much to her frustration, isn’t old enough to drive. I introduced AVA to the public at Union Square in Manhattan. While she appeared to be part of a brand activation, she was actually a design research project for my graduate thesis at the School of Visual Arts.

Thousands of investors signed up to use Legends Solar, our launch led Product Hunt and Hacker News, and we closed a small number of private offerings.
I wrote several articles designed to position myself as a thought leader at the intersection of technology and transportation. My articles were published in WIRED Magazine and my self published posts were widely distributed by leading urban designers.
I sometimes self-publish articles when they are not suited to branded content or distribution in a publication.
